My series on the costumes from Oz the Great and Powerful will show you the costumes of the main characters- Oscar, Theodora, Glinda and Evanora.
A witch to be feared, Evanora is Theodora's over-protective sister. With her penetrating gaze, she exudes a powerful presence and has positioned herself as the royal advisor and protector of Emerald City.
The glittering gown worn by Evanora, played by Rachel Weisz, was the Art Deco-inspired, mostly green architecture of Oz. The dress is a beautiful black tone gown, fully embellished with beads and black and green crystals. The dress features dramatic a cape with black and green feathers at the shoulders and along the neck. Her gown is beautiful and regal, while at the same time hard and cold.
